The Cleaning Process
AS RECOMMENDED BY THE IICRC
INSPECTION AND CONSULTATION: We will walk through the areas to be cleaned
with you and thoroughly inspect the carpet for areas of concern. We will run a
test on your carpet fiber to identify your kind of carpet and follow the
guidelines of the IICRC for correct cleaning method. Please visit IICRC website
for more information. |
|
DRY SOIL REMOVAL: Please have as much furniture moved as possible and
vacuum thoroughly. This will prevent you from paying an extra 5 cents per square
foot and is a vital step to the process. |
|
PRETREATMENT: we use only top of the line chemicals, it is applied and
agitated to break down protein and oil based soils. |
|
STEAM CLEANING: The pretreatment chemical suspends the dirt on top of the
carpet which is then cleaned and rinsed away. This is the recommended method by
most carpet manufacturers and is recognized by the IICRC as being a more
thorough process for restoration than other methods. |
|
PH BALANCED: After the cleaning your carpet will be ph balanced. This
helps the carpet dry faster and softer. |
|
PROTECTION: We then add a top of the line carpet protector to your carpet
which repels oil, water, and protein based soils. We include this in our price,
whereas most other companies do not include this in their price and charge up to
20 cents a square ft. We believe that your cleaning is not complete without this
step. |
|
GROOMED: Your carpet is groomed standing straight up to allow better air
circulation for faster drying as well as resetting carpet spring. |
|
DRYING: The final step is drying; we use industrial-grade air movers to
rapidly dry the carpet. In many circumstances we will leave an air mover with
you and pick it up the following day at no additional charge. |
